I hope you enjoy reading the pages of this site.Which is about the Olympic Sport of Judo. I coach at 2 clubs in Cardiff with Roy Court. We run an Organisation called WISP, which means Welsh Integrated Sports Plan.

We specialise in integrated classes in 3 sports- Judo - Football and Weight -Training.

I am studying Sports Development and coaching at the UWIC University in Cardiff

I am a 1st kyu, Brown Belt in Judo and Secretary/Treasurer and assistant coach for the WISP Organisation, I also teach Netball and am captain of the county UWIC Team.

I have attended many judo events throughout GB and Europe and recently I was the Assistant to the Technical Delegate at the Special Olympics World Summer Games in Shanghai China.

I am also working through my full coaching awards in Judo/Netball/Football/ Power-lifting and I have successfully passed my Sports Leadership Award.

Judo is a sport that can be enjoyed by all ages, it is also a very good sport for fitness.

It is an ideal sport for both Male and Female participants.

The sport of Judo is practiced throughout the World, in Great Britain we have the British Judo Association which is the overall governing body for judo.

With the four home unions each having thier own governing body to oversee the sport in the respective countries.
